1. Raichur Fort

The fort was built in 1294 AD by the Kakatiya rulers. Several dynasties like Mauryas, Bahmanis, and the Nizams ruled the fort. The inner walls of this fort are made of stone blocks and you can find Arabic, Urdu, and Persian texts on the walls here. 2. Tomb of Pir Sailani Shah

The Tomb of Pir Sailani Shah is dedicated to the Muslim Saint, Pir Sailani Shah, and is one of the much sought-after attractions in Raichur. Built-in Bijapur-style architecture, the Tomb of Pir Sailani Shah has a rectangular hall and a dome. The tomb was built by the people of Raichur to offer him a suitable place to rest.

3. Ek Minar ki Masjid

It is one of the most famous mosques in Raichur and the main attraction here is the 20m high minaret that you can climb up with the help of a staircase. 4. Markandeshwara Temple

Markandeshwara Temple is situated in very close proximity to Raichur at Kallur. The temple was named after the well-known Maharishi Markandeya, who was a devotee of Lord Shiva. The things that are worth witnessing in this temple are the carved pillars and the carvings. This is the oldest temple at Kallur that dates back to the 12th century. 5. Bichal

This can be called a temple town where you can find the Matha of Sri Raghavendra Swamy and Matha of Saviradevaru Channaveera Shivacharya Swamy. You can take a tour of the house of Sri Appanacharya, who was a disciple of Sri Raghavendra Swamy.

6. Jama Masjid

It is one of the largest mosques in Raichur that is famous for its rich culture and heritage. There are two entrances and six towering pillars in this mosque. From the mosque, you will be able to see the cemetery of the Adil Shahi dynasty, relics of a fort, and a palace.

7. Venkatapur

Venkatapur is known for the monuments it houses. It is believed that the town exists from the time of the Neolithic age. History aficionados must visit this place.

8. Ramagadde

As per legends, Lord Rama spent one year of his life here and built a Shiva temple. The temple is known for its Shivalinga, which is now worshipped by the locals regularly.

Gabbur, also known by other names such as Manipura, Gabburu, Garbhapura, and Gopuragrama, is also called a temple town. You will be able to find more than 30 temples and 28 rock edicts here. The majority of them were built during the era of Kalyani Chalukyas.
