You can call Nicco Park the Disney Land of West Bengal. With over 35 rides, this amusement park in Kolkata has something for everyone. Covering an area of 40 acres, some of the rides that the park offers to the visitors include Pirate Ship, Sky Diver, roller coasters, Water Chute, Bull Ride, Moon Raker, and Cyclone, to name a few. There is also a water park in Nicco Park, named Wet-O-Wild. It has a wave pool, number of water slides, a separate pool for kids, an artificial waterfall, and rain dance where you can tap your feet. Apart from these, it also has a bowling alley where many open bowling tournaments are conducted. There is a rooftop restaurant in the park where you can try some of the most delicious Chinese and Tandoori cuisines. The entry fee of the Amusement and Water Park is Rs 185 per person, on which you will be able to take 12 rides. For a full package that will include the entry fee and all the rides, you will have to pay Rs 600 per person. For Wet-O-Wild, the entry fee per person is Rs 555.

As it is about water parks in Kolkata, nothing can beat Aquatica. The 17-acre water theme park has some of the most heart thumping rides that will give you major adrenaline rush. Some of the most sought after rides you will find here are Black Hole, Cyclone, etc. You can also enjoy the Aqua dance floor and the Niagara Falls, an artificial waterfall.

One of the famous amusement parks in Kolkata that is spread across a massive area, Snow Park maintains temperature of minus 6 degree Celsius at an average. There are so many things to do here, which include ice skating, skiing, riding Swiss Sledge, riding a bike on ice, enjoying tube slides, dancing to disco music on snow, and many more.

Spreading across 480 acres of land, New Town Eco Park has a massive water body that covers almost 104 acres of its area. There are three sections in this park. The first section includes ecological zone, second consists of theme gardens and open spaces, and the third is the urban recreational spaces. You will be able to come across a wide variety of fauna at this park, which includes bamboo garden, bonsai garden, tea garden, several wildflower meadows, heliconia garden, butterfly garden, cactus walk area, etc. There are also play areas for children here.
Timing: 12 pm to 7.30 pm (Tuesday to Saturday); 11 am to 7.30 pm (Sunday and public holidays); Monday remains closed
Millenium Park is one of the sought after places in the city for picnic. The park is situated near the shores of River Hooghly and covers an area of 2.5 km. The landscaped garden area is the best to spend time with your family or friends; while there are also various rides that can be enjoyed by your kids.
