1. Jagannath Temple

Located in one of the posh areas in the city at Banjara Hills, Jagannath Temple is not only a Hindu religious place but also one of the best tourist attractions in Hyderabad. The temple is dedicated to Lord Jagannath and is appreciated for its architecture.

Opening and closing time: 6 am-11 am and 5 pm- 9 pm

2. Narasimha Swamy Temple

The uniqueness of this temple is the presence of five different Narasimhas under one roof. The architecture of this temple is typical South Indian and is colorful. The location of the pilgrimage site in Hyderabad is on top of a hill, the environment of this temple is serene.

3. Ashtalakshmi Temple

Dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi, Ashtalakshmi Temple is known for its marvelous architecture. There are eight sub-shrines of Goddess Lakshmi that are located inside this temple. You are sure to feel peace when you visit this shrine. This is one of the famous Hindu places in Hyderabad that you must visit at least once.

4. Shri Adinath Jain Temple

Shri Adinath Jain Temple is often visited by the Digambara sect of the Jain Community. This Jain temple is known for its beautiful carvings on wood and white marble. The temple is surrounded by tall trees and greenery. It is a great place to meditate.

5. Mecca Masjid

If you are looking for a beautiful mosque in Hyderabad, you must head to Mecca Masjid. This is one of the oldest as well as largest mosques in the city. The bricks that were used to make the central arch in the mosque were made of soil brought from Mecca. This is why the mosque is called Mecca Masjid. It was all done by the ruler of the time, Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah.

6. Begumpet Mosque

This is one of the most beautiful mosques in the city of Hyderabad. The architecture and design of the mosque are attractive and it is a great place to find peace at. The mosque was constructed in 1906 and in its architecture; you can find a Spanish/Moorish influence.

7. Toli Masjid

Toli Masjid or Damri Masjid was constructed by Mir Musa Khan Mahaldar in 1671 AD during the era of Abdullah Qutb Shah. Today, it is a heritage site and taken care of by the Archaeological Survey of India. There are two main halls in the mosque and the structure is perched on a platform. You must visit the mosque to see the architectural marvel.

8. George’s Church

It is one of the oldest churches in Hyderabad that dates back to 1844. You can visit the church to witness the vintage interiors, beautiful architecture, and serene environment.

9. Thomas Mar Thoma Church

The interiors and architecture of the church are the main attractions in this church. Built in the 1950s, the benches in the church look exactly like the typical ones that we see in movies. You can spend a long time here and try to connect with yourself.

10. Mahabodhi Buddha Vihara

Perched at Mahendra Hills in East Marredpally, Mahabodhi Buddha Vihara is one of the most beautiful religious places for the Buddhist community.
