1. Heritage Walk

2. Amdavad Ni Gufa

This is basically an art gallery with the shape of a dome like structure. The inspiration was taken from tortoise shells and soap bubbles. When you are in the city, you must visit this place to see the inside walls which were painted by noted painter M.F. Hussain. Amdavad Ni Gufa is a blend of both modern and traditional architecture, which was designed by B.V. Doshi. While you make plan for this attraction, remember it remains closed on Mondays and all the public holidays.

3. Aranya Park

Aranya Park is the place where you can go to spend a relaxing holiday. Surrounded by greenery, you will also be able to spot many birds, various types of butterflies and animals in this park. You can try their elephant safari, which is one of a kind.

4. Pols

Pols are basically the narrow lanes in the old city. While you are in this part of the city, you can visit the Jethabhai Haveli to witness the small toy museum which has a collection of some hundred year old toys and miniature kites. You might even come across some shops in the area that sell artifacts, curios, handicrafts, and hand looms.

5. Calico Museum of Textiles

Although you would want to go to some unexplored places in the city, but you will regret not visiting the Calico Museum of Textiles. While you are in this museum, you will even be able to see 500 years old textiles.

6. Kaligam Fort

It is one of the unexplored places in Ahmedabad, which is located in the outskirts of the city. You can see Mughal craftsmanship in this fort. The fort is not visited by many tourists; therefore, lacks maintenance.

7. Bhadra Fort

This is another fort located in the city of Ahmedabad. Many things have changed in this fort, but you can see the fortress walls with eight gates and 14 bastion towers. Right outside the fort is the popular Teen Darwaza, which the people in the city use as a road crossing now.

8. Kanthkot Fort

Kanthkot fort is one of the unexplored places near Ahmedabad, which was built in the 8th century. It is believed that the fort was built by the Kathi tribe, who were worshippers of the Sun. You can find three temples inside the walls of the fort, which include a Jain temple, and two other which are dedicated to the Sun god and sage Kanthadnath, after whom the fort was named.

9. Pavagadh Fort

Pavagadh fort was built by the Solanki rulers and further strengthened by the Chauhans, who belonged to the Khichi clan. The walls of the fortress are made of sandstone. The fort has eight gates and several temples like Lakulisa Temple that dates back to the 10th or 11th century and Jain temples that date back to the 13th century.

10. Bhujia Fort

The fort was built by Rao Godji I of the Jadeja clan in around 18th century. It is believed that the fort witnessed six major battles. You can see the temple inside the fort, with the main deity being Bhujang Naga.
