Upcoming Cars in India in 2022, Best Suited for Road Trips

Road trips are the best way to find the thrill in life that you have been missing lately. And if you could find some friends who are on the same page as you, the fun will just get doubled. Well, one thing that we must not miss out on mentioning while talking about road trips is the vehicle that you need. As we plan a road trip, one of the most important things that we should pay heed to is the vehicle. We need to understand that not all the roads in India are in their best conditions. Therefore, you need to first find out the condition of the road that you tend to take a road trip to and then choose a car accordingly.

What if you want to go to Ladakh and you have a luxury car that is the best only for smooth roads? Well, to deal with the situation, you can any day go for a self-drive car rental service. And as you plan to rent a car, you can choose from some of the best cars. Although they will not be brand new but will be in the best condition. To get the best car rental service in the country, you can consider Revv.

It has been quite some time since Revv is maintaining its position in the car rental service industry. The company is also planning to add the upcoming cars in India in 2022. Some of the cars that we can expect to be added to their inventory include:

Honda City Hybrid

Honda City has been one of the most sought-after sedan cars in India ever since it was launched. The new variant is Honda City Hybrid which is expected to be available in the market by October 2023. You will get different driving modes in this car which include Sport mode and the Econ mode. This will make the driving experience of the driver better. With the Multi-Information Display (MID), you will be able to find out efficiency progress indicator, driving efficiency indicator, fuel economy, drive info, energy flow, and many more. The car will have a naturally aspirated Atkinson Cycle petrol engine, four cylinders, a lithium-ion battery, and two electric motors. 97bhp and 127Nm of torque are generated by the petrol engine. As it is combined with an electric powertrain, 108bhp and 253Nm of torque are produced. The engine will have 7-speed DCT along with shift-by-wire technology. For better efficiency, this model is coming with an idle start/stop mechanism.

Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza

The exact date of launch of the new Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is yet to be known.  This upcoming SUV in India is coming with slight changes. The number plate recess will now be seen lower and much closer to the rear bumper. There will also be some cosmetic changes and the alloy wheels will be redesigned, and the dashboard will also have a new layout. This is one of the best luxury SUVs in India which is coming with lots of additional features. This new version of Brezza will have the same 1.5-liter K-Series petrol engine, which is available in the current model as well, which generates 103bhp and 138Nm of torque. The other things that will also be carried over are the four-speed torque converter automatic transmissions and the 5-speed manual.

Mahindra eKUV100

Talking about the electric cars in India, 2022, Mahindra eKUV100 is one of the upcoming SUVs in India that many people are eyeing even before it is launched. The connectivity features of this car include cabin pre-cooling, remote diagnostics, and real-time location tracking. The electric compact crossover will be able to monitor the driving pattern of the driver and the status of the battery. As the car launches, a new powertrain will also be offered. Charging the eKUV100 is the same as the 30kW lithium-ion battery pack which we can find in eVerito. The car will be able to cover 140 km. However, might have to be charged with the quick charging feature. In less than an hour, 80% of the car will be charged.
